Our partnership with local charity ‘Guild Care’ means we will now host a Caribbean pirate themed Family Mile, including shiny treasure and goodies waiting for the whole family at the finish on the sea front. Places into the ‘Guild Care’ Worthing Family Mile will be opening soon so keep your eyes peeled! The Worthing Family Mile is a funrun for all ages. This is NOT a race and the intention is to allow the whole family get involved (especially children). There is NO time limit for entrants.

START TIME: TBC opposite the Coastal Office on the Promenade - Warm up at 9.20am outside The Beacon
RACE NUMBER PICK UP
You must collect your race pack on the day at the info tent, located in Montague Place. Packet pick up will be open from 8.30am to collect your race numbers.
The 1 mile course starts on the promenade running west before joining Marine Parade and finishes outside M&S.
THE FINISH
Children running by themselves should be identified to our staff before the race. Adults who wish to not be part of the event can run/walk with their child and is recommended. Any individual child identified to our staff be will be handed back to parents at the end of the finishing shoot once the parent/ guardian is identified. We ask parents to assist our staff by being patient during this time. No child will be permitted to leave the Safe Zone without their parent/guardian to collect them. The collection area will be here
Q: Can I run with my child in a pram?
A: Yes! Just please be careful.
Q: Are there age restrictions?
A: We welcome all ages and abilities but children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult
Q: Can my dog join in the fun?
A: Absolutely!

You can then register for the event via RUNFEST’s website using the code.
Guild Care has been making a difference to the lives of the people of Worthing and its surrounding areas since it was established in 1933. In addition to the three care homes that we operate, our charity provides community services which support older people, those living with dementia and their carers, and children and adults with learning disabilities.
