In 2027, Windsor RUN-FEST is proud to organise two of the UK’s most loved running events, held in the stunning surroundings of Windsor Great Park on the last weekend of each September. Both races offer runners the chance to experience scenic courses, a welcoming atmosphere, and the unique opportunity to run with Windsor Castle as a backdrop. Windsor, welcome to the RUN-FEST Family!
Launched in 2011 to inspire and encourage more women to enjoy the thrill of running, the Windsor Women’s 10K takes place the day before the Half Marathon. The course winds through tree-lined avenues and sweeping parkland, creating a supportive, fun, and inclusive environment. Whether running solo, with friends, or as part of a group, this event celebrates achievement, empowerment, and the joy of being active together.
First held in 1981, the Windsor Half Marathon has become a staple of the British running calendar. The 13.1-mile course follows a beautiful, closed-road route through Windsor Great Park, featuring iconic views, rolling countryside, and a finish on the famous Long Walk. Loved by seasoned runners and first-timers alike, it’s a challenging yet rewarding race that combines history, scenery, and community spirit.
