Richmond Park has to lay claim to being London’s most picturesque Royal Park. With views over London and hundreds of fallow and red deer, there is always something to look at. Richmond Park is quite hilly and undulating so it is the perfect place to do your long runs.
Spanning 955 ha., Richmond Park is widely considered London’s premier running destination. The Richmond Park Tamsin Trail offers an ideal introduction, tracing much of the park’s perimeter and accessible from multiple entry points.
Surface: Crushed limestone, dirt, with some sealed sections.
Terrain: Gently undulating with moderate hills.
Toilets: Available at Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Gate, Sheen Gate, Roehampton Gate, Robin Hood Gate, Kingston Gate, and Ham Gate.
