parkruns in Richmond Upon Thames

Richmond Upon Thames has 5 parkruns in the borough and 14 within a 20mins drive. All parkruns start at 9am on a Saturday morning and are free to enter but you are encouraged to register. Click here for more info.

 

Bushy Park parkrun (Teddington) is where is all began (originally called Bushy Park Time Trial) and is largest parkrun in the world. Many parkrun tourists visit Bushy Park in Teddington. Bushy Park holds the World Record for the fastest run held by Olympian Andrew Baddeley – 13mins 48 seconds (11 Aug 2012).

Richmond Park parkrun (Richmond Park) is also very popular parkrun that starts near Richmond Hill Gate. The course is undulating but beautiful.

Kingston parkrun (Ham/ Kingston)is actually held within the Borough of Richmond along the beautiful flat Thames Path.

Old Deer Park parkrun (Richmond) is a very friendly run that is closest to central Richmond and Kew.

Crane Park parkrun (Twickenham) is another friendly run that is nice and flat.

 

JUNIOR parkrun’s in Richmond Upon Thames

There are 3 junior parkruns that take place in the borough. 2 of them are every Sunday and one is held once a month. It is a free, fun, and friendly 2k event for juniors (4 to 14 year olds).

Moormead junior parkrun (Twickenham) is held every Sunday at 9am.

Latchmere Red Junior parkrun (Ham) is held every Sunday at 9am.

Bushy Park Junior parkrun (Teddington) is held on the first Sunday of the month at 9am.
