ABOUT THE KEW HALF
The Kew Half Marathon will start at 8.30am on Sunday 31st March, 2024. Starting on closed roads inside Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, before venturing down the Richmond towpath and riverside to Ham House before turning to finish back at Kew Gardens next to the River Thames. Looking for a tune-up race pre London (3 weeks before) or Manchester (2 weeks before) marathon? Kew the Run offers a flat and fast course (check it out Check it out!), presenting a perfect chance to lock in to some marathon paced miles. We also have Xempo pace makers to help you judge your pace.
After the race come back inside Kew and enjoy a post-race acoustic music celebration! The Children’s Garden is also open exclusively for our runners.
ABOUT GoFundMe KEW THE RUN
GoFundMe Kew The Run is a weekend that hosts the Kew Gardens 10km on 30th March 2024 and the Kew Gardens Half Marathon on 31st March, 2024. This Richmond 10K will take on a new course running entirely inside a flat Kew Gardens. The Half will start and finish inside Kew whilst taking on an additional flat and scenic route of the Richmond Riverside.
After the events, finishers and their families* can explore London’s no. 1 visited tourist attraction Kew Gardens that holds 50,000 living plants to be found across the UNESCO World Heritage site.

Kew Gardens is a ticketed venue so we are delighted that your race entry also allows an additional 2x adults and 2x children (U16) to enter with you FREE of charge when you arrive for the race! Spectators HAVE TO enter Kew Gardens with their runner via Elizabeth Gate before 8.30am in order to gain access. If your spectators wish to watch the finish line only and then enter with the runner then please can the runner visit our information tent in Brentford car park to collect a wrist band for your spectator. Runners can re-enter Kew Gardens with their race number upto 12.00 noon.
Important Re- entry information: Spectators can exit via Brentford Gate to watch runners finish in Brentford Car Park (we will give spectators a reentry wrist band to get back inside Kew via Brentford Gate). Spectators can re-enter Kew Gardens via Brentford Gate upto 12.00 noon.
Once you are in Kew Gardens after 12:00, you can remain there for the rest of the day but you cannot exit and then re-enter without paying the standard entry fee.

We have lot's of staff ready to hand you your race packs on race day morning (from 6.45am) but if you signed up before THURSDAY 9TH MARCH (9PM), you can also collect your race pack from Sporting Feet, Richmond (9 King St, London TW9 1ND) from Friday 24th March (10am) until Saturday 30th March (2pm) and they will also be available to be collected on the morning of your race outside Elizabeth Gate (TW9 3AA). PLEASE HAVE YOUR RACE NUMBER READY WHICH WILL BE ON YOUR FINAL INSTRUCTIONS EMAIL!

Starting outside the Hive at Kew Gardens the brand new course run through the beautiful gardens before running down the beautiful thames tow path berfore finishing back at Kew.
This is still London's flattest half marathon and even flatter than last years Richmond Half Marathon. The new course has net drop of 3ft and only a total uphill of 181ft across the whole 13.1miles.
