The entrance for The Kew Half Marathon is Elizabeth Gate, located at the end of Kew Green. To access Elizabeth Gate, by foot use address: Elizabeth Gate, Kew Green, Richmond TW9 3AE or for what3words use: swim.plan.worth (https://w3w.co/swim.plan.worth).
BY FOOT
KEW BRIDGE: is 0.5 miles from Kew Green. Walk over Kew Bridge, turn right onto Kew Green.
RICHMOND STATION: Walk north-east on Kew Rd/A307 towards Sun Alley. Continue to follow Kew Rd for 1.6 miles. Turn left onto Kew Green and walk to the end.
BY BICYCLE
Why not cycle to Kew Gardens? There are bike racking facilities on Kew Green near Elizabeth Gate.
SOUTH WESTERN TRAINS & LONDON OVERGROUND TRAINS
Trains are currently working well from Waterloo to Kew Bridge Station or Richmond Station with no issues currently reported.
The London Overground service from Stratford to Kew Gardens Station does not start in time for the morning races so please check alternative routes.
LONDON UNDERGROUND
Your alternative is take the PICCADDILY LINE (24HRS) to Turnham Green Station, short 5 mins walk to BUS STOP SS on Chiswick High Road (229 Chiswick High Rd, Chiswick, London W4 2DW) and take one of the following buses to Kew Bridge: BUS 237, 110 or N9. Or a short UBER/ taxi ride. Please always check the ‘Transport for London’ website (www.tfl.gov.uk) or visit the National Rail Journey Planner.(www.nationalrail.co.uk).
BY BUS
Routes 237, 65, 110 and 267 stop at Kew Bridge Station. Route 65 between Ealing Broadway and Kingston, via Richmond town centre, stops outside Kew Green.
TAXI DROP OFF LOCATION
Vehicles are not permitted around Kew Green so please use Kew Green, Richmond TW9 3AP or what3words: trader.reform.feels (www.what3words.com/trader.reform.feels) as your taxi drop off point.
