Getting ready to run a 10K?
The table below converts your target finish time into your pace per mile or kilometre and includes your halfway split. It also provides splits for every 2 kilometres. If you’d prefer to see splits for each individual kilometre, simply click on the finish time at the start of the row.
The table begins with Joshua Cheptegei’s world record time of 26:11 (just in case you’re feeling ambitious!). For the rest of us, it continues up to 1:19:00, increasing in 30-second intervals. If your desired finish time isn’t listed, or falls between the set intervals, feel free to use our pace calculator tool instead.
Did you know that the world records for 10,000 metres is held by Ugandan runner Joshua Cheptegei. For women, the world record is 28:54.14, held by Kenyan athlete Beatrice Chebet.
